Anyone use this product from Rapco, (Gillespie Coatings Paint). Working on a off road thing and would like to go camo. Any ideas or suggestions.
Thanks,
Jeff

Wal-mart here is carrying Krylon paint, that they are putting out as a kit.
They list on the cans what colors are needed to do 3 different types of Camo paint jobs.
I plan on getting them to order me enought to do a Desert Camo Job _________________ From the last vestages of the Old West

I used the Gillespie paints from Rapco to do a camo job on my car about a year and a half ago. I used a gallon to hvlp spray the entire car in a base semi-gloss olive drab. Then, I used four different colored rattle can to do the camo patern, all "lusterless" military spec color.
You want to know what? If Gillespie is good? Rapco? Both are good, imho. I recommend it. Good luck. _________________ NTHANG, LLC |

The Thing stays outside these days. The Gillespie coatings (so far) are holding up well. Its hard, tough stuff that sticks to anything metal and doesn't let go. The rattle can tips spray in a wide vertical pattern.....better than the kraylon tips. I think that you will have good luck with Gillespie and Rapco....its better than anything that I found at the flaps....by far. _________________ NTHANG, LLC |
