Hi yall i was at the junkyard and i saw a bug with some nice looking wheels. They are aluminum, and look similar to the pic below, except that there are 6 slots, and they are more rectangular, then round. Also the face of the wheel is flat, not rounded like the pic. The color was the same. The face was black, and the outside rim and the outline of the slotts were silver (polished the aluminum i guess). Any ideas what rims they are. They would only cost about $18 a rim, and there is a whole set of four.

yup, those are it. Are they worth much? i can get them for $18 a wheel, worth it? they do look kinda cool. the tires they had on them were 165/**/R15 (can't remember middle #). Is that the same width as a stock tire? They are lighter then the stock steel wheels, so would be good for a little better MPG, especially at $3.60 a gallon Cool Wink .

The only difference i see is that the center cap was just a chromed steel cap, that was smoothe and stuck out (about the same as your pic). It didn't say anything, just chromed steel.

Heck, for $18 a wheel, I'd buy, blast them, powdercoat them run them. I think they look cool.

well, i am not sure if the center caps were origional. they don't look like the ones in the pic, they are just a stamped steel chrome cap. THey felt lighter than a stock wheel, so i might just buy them just to help with MPG. But im not sure if they will be there when i get up there again. They are in the pull-a-part in henrico (conely). It was recently put there. I think on row 27, not the one on row 100. The paint was chipping off, so it would need a repaint. I had taken off a hitch, so now i will finally be able to tow stuff Very Happy. Anyhoo, if i get up there again, and buy them, i might just pass them along to whoever wants them.

I kno, i just posted a pic (the first one) of the turtle backs, just in case someone who knew what the wheels im talking about were, but didn't know what turtle backs were. I didn't take a pic of the wheels at the junkyard, so i just tried to explain it as best as possible
