I see they flont that hand rolled smoke in near every pic. Laughing Hilarious. Maybe that's why they designed Vanagons to be slow. Eh? It feels fast dude....

Hey Art,

What magazine was that from? I'd like to read the report on the road test!

I remember Car and Driver did a road test on a '67 bus. They would give comparisons to other cars they had recently tested.

On the 0-to-60 test, the bus pulled something like 44 seconds. They listed this next to some rocket like the Shelby Cobra that did it in 7 seconds.

Yeah I can believe that. I think they didn't try that with the Claer Bus. Or this one. Of course, A Shelby ???? http://youtube.com/watch?v=f3xLQjpQshY&mode=related&search=

I got a book from G.W. and it had tons of different reports about the vanaogn. I bet if I looked around I could even find it and tell you the books name.

This certainly brings back the memories, but looking at that broad, I wonder how I ever survived the Free Love Era. If it weren't for all those creamy a-go-go dancers who, among other things, knew how to shave their legs, I might have ended up in a monastery.
