ok I dont have any front wheel cylinders, I have several rear wheel setups.

As far as the paypal. I think its a great idea BUUUTTTTTT and I think P-dub would probably agree... but the bus probably doesnt really need even the 500.00 in stuff.
Especially with alot of the parts being donated.

It seems to me tires are the biggest need as far as expense.
The rest all seems to be nickle and dime stuff.

With the exception of the metal work{which isnt needed to get the bus running}
Unless I am missing something??

the paypal idea still sounds good, can Kprecilla set up an account? The Tyres will cost a bit, and the metal work will need to be started at some point! Things like paint and chrome polish could be picked up out of it as well.

I agree - there's still insurance and registration to take care of too. Their $500 isn't going to go too far and Paypal let's everyone else get involved for whatever amount they want to contribute.

So, who's address to we send the stuff too? I have some synthetic Mobil1 or Royal Purple gear oil, ATE blue brake fluid (used them on my Porsche Very Happy)
fuel lines...and filter here also

I can have these boxed and ready for shipment.

Paypal is also a great idea. The bus could use a good body and paint in the future.

I agree to all of the above. I think we all know how quickly all this little stuff adds up. Tires will go for $200-$300, and the registration and insurance will blow through the rest. I also this that shipping items like motor oil isn't cost effective. Let's just see what items get donated then the paypal fund could be for those trips to the auto parts store for general items. The account should be in the name of a person who will be there on the scene and working on the bus, and can keep track of the funds spent and needed. Keep up the good work everyone!

the paypal thing makes sense, I was thinking that day not anything after,

We also need to compile a list of who is willing to work on ther car for sure.

So if your in say I,

I would like to make sure we have the people to get it done before we start taking paypal payments.

winmotors, you have a PM

If anyone has stuff to send, send it to me. I will either install it or get it to the bus for the fix-er-up weekend. PM for shipping address.

Also if anyone wants to donate Via paypal

Please use [email protected]

Please title your Donation as

"SAMBA BUS DONATION"

That way we will not confuse Donation funds with club funds.

At the show/ delivery I will provide Kori a printed list from paypal of all those who donated and what was donated for verification and accounting purposes, she can cross check me at any time, maybe you will get a thank you card or some fudge or something Laughing Laughing

so far here is a list of what I am sending:
gear oil Mobil1
fuel lines 10ft
fuel filter
brake fluid if you want it....what the heck I'll send it
spark plug wires....use but less than 5k miles...actually less than 3k miles
and what ever else tune up stuff I have.

WHAT KIND OF DISTRIBUTOR IS IN THERE NOW?

Thanks

It's got an 009 in it. Don't worry about the distributor, I've got plenty 009 on hand.
