I recently purchased a 69 type III squareback and I cannot find replacement body/sheet metal parts for it anywhere. These parts are readily available for the bugs/ghias etc... but nadda for the type 3's Anyone know of a good site to get these parts from?
I need floor panels and a rear apron. Actually I need a gripload of other parts too, but that is beside the point. Thanks for any help with this! |

| Check the classified here and on ebay. Also, check with the Type 3 Detectives. |

Very few if any body panels for Type 3 are still made. Typically you will need to find NOS or donor parts from other cars.
Or, if you are really gifted, you could fabricate them yourself and make a fortune selling them to other type 3 guys.

| I wish I had some sort of skill to create the floor panels and other replacement parts for the T3's, I would make a killing! I will check out all of the avenues provided. Thanks for the insight! |
