Thing cv boots

The boots on my thing need replacing but the joints are good.Now here's my Question.I know the joints are thing only but are the boots the same as the late (76) bus or are the boots thing only as well?

According to my WCM glovebox book, the boots are the same as bus boots.

I checked the part # on the new ones and they were the same as type 2. Thanks.

Get the German ones with the VW Audi logo on them, the Brazilian or Tiwanese are junk.
