Trouble removing Riviera Furnace

I have a 77 riviera and am trying to remove the furnace to work on it. The manual says that you can just remove the two screws that secure the heat exchanger and the whole thing will slide out. Something in the back around the exhaust is hanging up. I can't find any screws that look like they're holding it but it won't come out. Any suggestions?

I removed my furnace last year and had the same problem. If my memory serves me right the exhaust port, which is firmly attached to the furnace, was riveted to the body. I think we drilled out the rivets and out came the furnace. Good Luck.
