When I did mine 10 years ago, the OEM's weren't available, since VW de Mexico hadn't sold their inventory to The Thing Shop yet. I got mine cut off an old thing from Things Unlimited (previous ownership/location) and had them shipped. They were rust-free from a Colorado car, but one weak spot later erupted into a cancerous nightmare that I'm addressing now, so just make sure you give them a good inspection and do repairs & rustproofing if you're going w/ old rockers. Also, if you don't need the entire rockers replaced, you can use pieces from old doors. Alot of this has been addressed, so you might want to do a search on the subject... |

of course you can only use door skins for the outer rockers, inners are a different stamping... If both are bad, then the bolt land will be doubltfull and a body off would be best to eliminate reinfection.

Is there an article on the web somewhere about changing these out?
Thanks,
