Just a couple of questions for you 181 guru's. Just got a 71 Thing and it has 14 inch wheels. What is the largest 14 in tire I can put on without modifying it? Also, I have a fuse panel to the right of the steering column. The number two fuse is missing (second from right) and I was wondering what this space is for and what amp fuse to put in. I don't want to go messing around and fry something. Thanks. |

Max size depends upon the ACTUAL overall width and height of the tires. I'm running Venture A/Ts, 205/75/14. Do a search and you will find some other options here. _________________ OG JHC

I am running 205/75/15 with no problems. They are not Thing offset wheels, just regular wide 5 bug wheels. _________________ '73 Thing--Ted
