With my limited time and limited space I have got the back half painted. Whew.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Now to tackle the front, atleast this time I was able to borrow a small sandblaster to remove some of worst rust spots.

Thanks Scott for the paint code as its just about spot on in color matching the interior original paint.

Looks good. Can't wait to see the front work you are doing.

Did you spray it without masking the glass?

If so, you're really screwing yourself.

What is that hole for, halfway up the right rear corner?

the hole is for a secret shut off key to the battery the PO installed so no one can steal the Westy.

just that one window isn't masked off . Razz

I second the motion... Can you take out the windows, then do another coat? Would be a god time to put in new seals too.

I don't have time as 20 relatives are showing up next weekend and they want to go camping. So I need to finish the Westy....I'll pop out the glass in Sept and clean it up then plus new seals.

Yes, nice job. Can't say I even know how to paint, looks like you do. But in general I do obsess about doing things as right as possible, that's cool if didn't have the time, I think once you get used to it as it is now, and then pop the glass and cleanup in Sept, you'll get an increased satisfaction.
Enjoy!

yup, as I have some rust under the windshield to take care off that will require abit of welding. No time for that now so I'll fix that later in Sept.

Now if I quit my job I would have all the time I needed but no money to afford all the stuff I need to fix the Westy.
