Im buying a set of 15 X 6 replica fuch to put on my 65 beetle, since I have original brake drums I will need adapters, the question is, will the tires come out too far out from the fenders?, or I will need to convert my car to disk brake, I know somebody must have done this before, any pics of cars so I know how mine will look with the 6" and adapters, any advise, thanks,

The adapters will make the wheels stick out an inch. Drop spindles do push the wheels out a little. Your best bet is to run porsche pattern drums in the rear and disk up front drilled to porsche pattern and I would suggest atleast a 3" narrowed beam. Also what size front tires are you planning to run? Id contact CB Performance or Old Speed for all those parts.

hI THERE,

WHAT EVER YOU DO, IF YOU BUY FROM CB PERFORMANCE DISC BRAKES MAKE SURE YOU GET THE NEWEST DROP SPINDLES THAT ARE NOT WELDED. I GOT THEM AND THEY PUSH OUT AN INCH.

WATCH OUT FOR THE REAR DISC, WHICH THEY DO THE SAME, PUSH OUT MORE. THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS, UNTIL YOU FIND OUT ON YOUR Very Happy OWN.
ON THE DRUMS YOU CAN GET THEM DRILLED AT A MACHINE SHOP, AND HAVE THEM PRESS IN THE STUDS.
Very Happy
