Hey guys,
this is probably a real simple problm to solve but...
my indicators are not working properely ( they are tempramental) they work fine most of the time but when i turn my lights on the stop working, also when i turn the fresh air fan on they stop working. or when the lights are on the lowest setting they work fine. its not the flasher unit because the hazards work fine?
any solutions im thinking that im gonna need a new wiring diagram _________________ 71 1302s

Wiring diagrams are easy to get. Search the forums because there is a web site for them. But you also should clean as many contacts on the affected items as possible (as well as on the fuse box) with a file or emery cloth, and make sure all the connectors are tight. This has been the source and solution of 99% of my electrical problems. |

oh woops
i meant i needed a new wiring loom - i was looking at a wiring diagram at the time i wrote the message - that vintagebus site has heaps.
its a 1972 1302s btw.
my wiring is a complete mess, resembles a birds nest.
who makes the best wiring looms? _________________ 71 1302s

A lot of them are made by Wiring Works and sold by most of the principal VW vendors. He doesn't have his own website. (call him) Nice stuff!

jbugs lists a complete 72 harness for $240 or the main loom for $85 - I'm not sure if these are Bob's or not...
