Thom,
Thanks for posting my pics, I hope to get where I can figure out how to do this. Thanks!

Also, it is sitting on a '68 pan with Ghia discs and drop spindles in the front and Type 3 drums in the rear

Grifspop it is easiest if you upload your photos to this site first before you add them to a thread. You will get it with time. But anyway nice car.
I hope you have a good time with it, Patrick.

Very nice. Is that a canvas top and did you use the stock interior? I wanna do the same with my 56 as far as the chrome trim goes and I'm using a 70 pan. I even planned on leaving the Wolfsburg crest on the hood without the trim. Nice clean car. Congrats and have fun with it.

Thanks, jmsmilin, for the link to the Atlanta volkswagen info. Went to All Around Resto's show last week, next up will be the Bugs at the Branch show.

56bugdan,
The ragtop is black Hartz stayfast material, I think it looks classier than the vinyl. I am doing the interior with the original hidden stitch pleated seats, german square weave carpet, and original velour headliner. It's de-chromed like an old school Cal-Look car, but I left the Wolfsburg crest without the bezel, just made my own gasket to sit behind it.
Thanks for the interest, guys.

Pete

Thought I'd post a few pictures, I'm getting ready to add a narrowed beam and get the interior installed
