|
|
Hey guys- I'm hoping you can help me with a look I'm shooting for. I'm looking for pics of Bugs with this style hubcaps:
On a variety of wheel & tire combos. I'm thinking about picking some up and wonder how they'd look with white smoothies, black smoothies & /or whitewall tires. I tried searching and couldn't come up with much.
Thanks a ton- |

I've been thinking about that idea for a while as well.
This is the only car I've ever seen with those caps on smoothies.

Oooo- I really like that look. Ok- that covers black smoothies with whitewalls...
I have the paintt stripper, white & black paint for the rims, a guy that does cheap powder coating and the whitewall paint all waiting in the wings to see what I like best.
If I go black, I'll paint two to make sure I like the look, then have them all PCd for durability, and paint on the whitewalls.
If I go white wheels, I'll probably keep the tires all black- But I really think white wheels would take away from the chrome of the hubcaps...
This is fun. |
