Yes charcoal canister and it's already gone (thought I'd keep the bracket just in case the next owner might want to put the canister back in)
Wheels are on (the backs are in really good shape)
the fronts aren't as nice, shoudl be fine with a little paint in the future.
Note to self paint the rusty hubs
Starting to lean toward the all tan/sand color also.....Either way if the car gets a full coat of paint later in life most of the paint will come off. |

The black will make a good base coat.
I'll paint the right rear Tan/sand and do a bolt on test.
There is a bug running around town here, tan in color with brown fenders......Looks decent. |

Sweet we'll call that my inspirational picture.
Thanks Fattie
Tan it is...you know in order for me to make this car look that good I'd have to paint the whole car
Not willing to put the time in yet for that (I have enough projects in the works)
How about some tan and chrome wheels instead of black

Finally got a little time to work on the super again
Painted some parts and put in a few fender bolts (waiting for some black fender beeding)
Not sure what's up with the hood alignment Doesn't matter what I do it is not closing/clearing the vented area....Probably just do stand-offs like everyone else that has the same problem |

I bet your hinges warped from the heat of the fire. Nothing a little hammering won't fix _________________ '66 SO-42

Quite possible.
I do have another set of hinges, I just have to dig them up and take a look. |
