1400+25,000=26,400 invested, plus your time... 300 hours @$75/hour =$22,500. Total invested including time, $48,500, about what GoWesty would charge <g>
note the OP is not a mechanic, and had to pay for the mechanic hours to install everything..
so, the question is not really what did you pay, rather its, how much do you have in it , and if you did all the work yourself, what was your total parts cost, plus how many hours of mechanic time.
I also encourage posters to show a photo of their van, so we can get a sense of what their vehicle looks like, for the price.
Here is my >$25k syncro westy with EJ22, propex, new paint and canvas, OME shocks, Syncro.org springs, SA headlights, limo tint, racks, rubber floor mats, house battery, inverter, new sink faucet, new sink pump, new fuel tank, new transmission, new ball joints, new brakes, new steering rack.. you get the picture

sliding-john,
well well....
see, the original question is what did you pay. period. 1400, then check box. no smarty remarks necessary.
I need not to respond to your other comments cause it take the emphasis off the question in this post. |

In November 1086, w paid $15,800 for our '86 Wolfburg Weekender with A/C. It was marked at $18.800 and had a $3000 year end rebate. Bought it with $500 down and a baloon payment at the end. Managed to pay it off early. Best investment I ever made in a vehicle.

I paid $850 for my Westy, and $1100 for my GL. So I've got 2 vans for under $2K. Now if you count all my time and money invested into parts, repairs, upgrades, etc., well, it's somewhere around $4K in just my first year of ownership. _________________ 1993 Eurovan CL
