so to complete the list a bit, here my datas:

- 36hp engine 1433ccm
- 78,5mm (third oversize) pistons kolbenschmidt/ machined
- 74mm porsche 356 crank
- 356 rods (poished, custom bushings for 20mm bolt)
- flywheel porsche 356 8 dowel 4,25kg after machining
- cam aircooled research stage II bolt on gear
- valfes 36/28mm
- carbs 34PCI dual (venturi 26mm, 138,5/180)
- manifolds riechert welded and ported
- heads 36hp, some porting and welding
- compressionratio 8,8:1
- spacers 11mm
- headvolume 39cc / ball shaped
- exhaust stock, TDE pipes
- ignition Bosch BR25

Datas:
- corrected din power engine 70PS (nearly same as HP), @ 4223
- 50ps on wheels
- torque 126Nm @3282 upm

Did any of you guys see the vintage film (converted to digital by Aussie Dubbers) of Dick Bieth back in 1961 at Bonneville with his 36hp powered Beetle LSR (complete with bicycle chain-driver Pepco roots blower on top)?

It's great classic stuff, email Burly for a digital copy...

Hi Tom, Yes Burly has sent a copy and "wiggy" is converting it for inclusion in "The History of Vintage Speed" sticky here. Smile
