"After Prometheus's theft of the secret of fire, Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create the woman Pandora as part of the punishment for mankind. Pandora was given many seductive gifts from Aphrodite, Hermes, Charites, and Horae. For fear of additional reprisals, Prometheus warned his brother Epimetheus not to accept any gifts from Zeus, but Epimetheus did not listen, and married Pandora. Pandora had been given a large jar and instructed by Zeus to keep it closed, but she had also been given the gift of curiosity, and ultimately opened it. When she opened it, all of the evils, ills, diseases, and burdensome labor that mankind had not known previously, escaped from the jar, although Pandora was quick enough to close it again and keep one value inside: hope. We are not told why hope alone remained in the jar.
There is no reason to think Pandora acted out of malice in opening the jar, for she was exercising her curiosity, and also when she saw what was let out of it, she quickly closed it." _________________ -- 1987 Westfalia automatic (Captain Vino) |

I warned him, Pandora's Vanagon. As for NFL overtime, global warming, the financial crisis and the auto industry. It's all Eric's fault! _________________ -- 1987 Westfalia automatic (Captain Vino)

This is not amusing. It's like when a NFL game runs 15 minutes long on TV, and the networks are running behind for the rest of the night, and you have your Tivo set to record something. You miss the last 15 minutes because your Tivo doesn't know that the NFL game went over it's time period.
Not that this happened to me or anything.
Anyone see the end of the final Survivor show Sunday? I didn't.
Now back to the mystery of Eric's van.............. _________________ 1985 Westy, 1.9L automatic (Daisy)
