I received the new part today. It looks completely different compared to the stock part, but the dimensions are the same and it passes the test for the year as spelled out by the Bentley. I'm returning the dead part ASAP. You'll probably see it by Wednesday next week. |

Another smooth transaction with Russ. Excellent part quality for a reasonable price. And did I mention he doesn't charge a tax for advice? _________________ 1964 Type 1 Sedan |

asked Russ for advice and he offers me the parts I was hesitant about ordering from overseas! not just that, but he threw in some extra stuff to boot, packed it really well and shipped almost instantly.
oh, and on top of everything, the main part he sent turns out to be NOS, which I didn't even expect. nice bonus!
can't go wrong with Russ. |

I just received a type 3 part from Russ a day or two ago. What can I say? Seamless, that's what. He's easy to deal with & honest. I sent him 2 payments by mistake & I got a refund almost immediately.
The part I ordered arrived sooner than expected & in the condition just as described. Russ is a trusted name / personality in the VW / Type scene... & he's got lots of little type 3 gems. Thanks again, Russ.

I've purchased a few items and traded a couple of times with Russ too. He is the first person I talk to anymore partly because he's reasonable, but mainly because his knowledge of VW's far exceeds most, and he will tell you if your trying to use the wrong part. Few people will talk you out of buying a part. |

I just got back from spending a very nice afternoon with Russ and Marilyn. We had a lot of fun BSing about cars, and he let me try out his '69 Fasty.
I bought a pair of his rebuilt SP heads (new valves/guides, flycut, three-angle valve job, re-studded where necessary, and thoughtfully coated in Cosmoline), some thick-gauge Beetle pan sections, and a Thing window bag he happened to have lying around.
There were a handful of other parts I was thinking of buying, but I'll save them for another trip.
