KAMEI horizontal stabilizer

I found a reference to an early stabilizer that Kamei sold in the early '50's.

This one belongs to Morten Lund in Norway. I know he posts on the Samba but I can’t remember his username.

He told me it is an original Kamei spoiler from 1952, the first car accessory Karl Meyer made as a start of a long line of styling products. It was probably made in his own garage. He only made 40 of them but they didn't sell well, probably as they looked so ugly said Morten. At the time (about 2002) it was one of only three known to exist. However he didn't say if they worked well.
