right on,ive welded little tubes from the exhaust (stock preheater location) to the intakes to preheate the intakes,i have a kit that they (preheaters) bolt onto as well, its kinda a cold weather thing,in warm weather they seem to do just fine. _________________ Have a great day! |

I received a gift a bit early, it's a Scat 010 dist. my bro bought me... Looks far better than the 009! Heres a pic.
I hope it is oriented correctly. I just need to stockpile the tin and a camshaft for this baby, and I will start rebuilding it...
I also began mock up off preheater tubes for the carbs... one was not fastened in the pic and kinda fell over... Was gonna take another pic but camera died...
Happy holidays everyone!
Any suggestions for my 36hp build? |

happy new year all! Not to many new pics.. gotta rebuild some carbs and make a linkage, but I got some j tubes and am trying to find some front and rear tin...
Need oil fill, pulley for the gen. and some other stuff.
Once I get all the tin together and the way I want it I will rebuild the longblock.
Thanks to the seller on the dist. my brother bought for me! Thesamba.com rocks! |
