Just picked up a set of dual Solex 28 carbs along with single port manifolds that came off a 36hp engine that has been sitting for many years.

Plan is to get these rebuilt and run them on a stock single port 1500 w/ 70's Berg linkage an a 019 dist.

Any suggestions on where to start with jetting?

I not sure if those will fit your heads if they came off of a 36er.

you won't be able to mount them on a 1500 motor unfortunately as 36hp's had flat intake ports and 1500's had angled ports (plus i think the stud spacing is different as well).

make yourself up a set for the 1500 and keep the 36hp stuff until you have one.

edit. you've got to quick around here.
