Wow this was a hot thread from a year and one half ago. I am having trouble receiving the IRS freeway flyer trans that we won at the 07 Fremont Experience VW show that was promoted by Tom. I am hoping that he does the right thing. Many people think it was just a miss understanding. I hope that is the case. Usually, when people buy raffle tickets, they are fairly confident that they will receive the prize if they win. I am having my doubts. Care to chime in on this one Tom? Will my 16 year old get her trans or not? |

usually raffle prizes are at the raffle. That way the winner can take their prize home right then and not have to wait well we're going on 6 weeks now.
Well Tom? Is RockNBus' 16 year old getting her trans or not?
we're waiting! _________________ Jesus Saves

I hope none of you people think I'm going to stiff here out of the transmission, the way we give out the freeway flyer is to give the winner a side cover with daniels name on it and that person can redeem it any time he or she wants to. but i didn't get the side cover at the show, so i did it the best way to handle it, that other trans. was given out at the strip sunday, but again i didn't get the side cover. i have done everything that i can do to get it, she will get it! asap. tom |

Not to be confused with this (past) show? It had no raffle as far as I remember:
I do remember a young gal with a green camper... wrong, right?

Who's to say I didn't see you there? Who are you? All I know about you (besides welching on a raffle) is what I remember from the rants last year & your war of big words/little action with Oval Bob. It's obvious you fancy yourself kind of important |

Tom,
Thanks for resolving the issue. Like some people were saying, it was a misunderstanding and you came through. Way to be a stand-up guy.
ps. I did buy raffle tickets. I always do. I tried to buy a XL shirt too but you were out.
Rocky

|
|
I ordered 4 tires from Tom last year, gave him my credit card number with trust. First off the tires were sent to the wrong address and I was charged for his mistake. Second when the tires arrived there were only two out of the four I had ordered and he charged me for all four. He told me the other two were on back order and he would send them when they came in. After several calls and waiting months with no results I called and told him to refund the money for the two tires. Tom said he would refund the money. It has now been several more months with repeated phone calls and empty promises of, " I'll send the money soon" is what he keeps saying or , "the money will be sent on Monday" I still have not seen a penny. After waiting and calling and getting tired of hearing him tell me he'll send the money soon, I asked him again when he'd send my money and he wouldn't even give me a direct answer, at that point I told him I consider him a THIEF and a LIAR.(you can make up your own opinion about him)ANYONE CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH TOM CARSTEN AT CLASSIC VDUBS BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT SEND THIS GUY MONEY, HE IS UNRELIABLE AND DISHONEST.
This feed back will be updated if and when I receive my money. |
