Got e-mail from Karl's daughter. He's had a blood disease for five or so years, had a fall in December and is trying to recover. Michelle is monitoring the forums here and will pass messages on to him. He's in ICU now, hopefully will get into a ward soon. I'm in Fresno, will drive up Friday or Saturday for a visit.

he has been not feeling well lately. We had a nice conversation about a week ago. The potential on this could be quite severe so let's all pray that he gets better. He has helped me out several times that we are eternally grateful for. If anything is needed that we can help with, we are in Sacramento about 600 miles south so please let us know. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

I was PMing Karl back and forth last week when he suddenly just didn't write back. I got a PM from his daughter yesterday telling me Karl was in the hospital. Karl's helped me a lot and sent me lots of parts too. Very sad news indeed.
Here to a speedy and healthy recovery Karl!!! _________________ '73 Transporter 1.7L Dual Carb
