I've been going through the piles of parts I've accumulated over the years and I came across a non-vac advance distributor with the numbers 013 on it. What's this for? I've searched and found nothing on it. Can someone help identify what it belongs to? Thanks in advance.

While we have a photo of it, what is the purpoe of the plug on the bottom? The one with the three-sided clasp in the middle.

Thanks alot Glenn! Can you "teach a man to fish" and tell me where to look up this info so I don't have to bug you guys if necessary? (I have a few more distributors I don't know the origin of) Embarassed
Also, since it is not a vac advance dizzy, is this a good dizzy to run on a dual carbed (34ICT) mild motor? Thanks a lot.

That distributor is actualy a vac advance type but the can is missing- see that rectangular slot- thats where the can goes. Not an uncommon distributor to get bits for still.

I have always been under the "speculated" impression that those plugs that look like inverted snap rivets are vents to allow condensation and oil vapor to drain out. Ray

Yes... the can is missing so the distributor is not usable.
