The ground clearance shot is my favorite.

That reminds me of going to May 2005 Bugorama a back way through Oregon and Greg hit a rock with the center pin of my old 65 westy.
He said if it had 15" rims it would have cleared; he wasn't used to driving a short 14" wheel bus.
This is the rock, you can see where it was hit:

well i finaly decided to move some trash - took me about an hour.
had to cut out some brush and thorns, and get on down the trail
...but i forgot to bring my shovel i brought a pitch fork to move the trash.
the westy does not have enough ground clearance for the pipe...and loose gravel over mud, i just did not want to chance it out by myself
there has been quite a bit of rain since i hiked the trail, wasn't expecting the washout.....
i have got to get more ground clearance and better tires |

Your Bus has a cool wear pattern going on.
This photo is very pleasing. Nice lighting, almost postcard-like.
No insult intended but when I first saw that photo, I was expecting a "Just found this Bus in a field" message. _________________ How to Post Photos

looking at this thread for months drove me nuts wanting to get off the pavement. defiently fun as hell cruising around on some dirt roads; i was grinning ear to ear. for those with stock height buses, i do recommend trying it.
some of you guys are nut where you take you buses; too extreme for me. _________________ WANTED:
