I'm looking for an exhaust that 1) Is quiet. 2) Doesn't hang low. 3) Flows well enough to go on a 2017. Getting two of the three is easy. Any suggestions for an exhaust that addresses all three?

Well, SandS used to make a single turbo that tucked up on the right side for a bus............unfortunately they only make the thing header any longer. I used a Thing header [same height as bottom of case, no lower] and used a Bugpack Turbo hideaway and modified it slightly [turned the flange and rewelded] and it works nicely. The Turbo muff is plenty big and will give great results............ I also used this setup on my 2054 powered thing and sacrificed no ground clearance. Kymco now makes that turbo hideaway for the Thing and maybe they make something for a bus....check it out.

Anyone have a wav file or similar so I can hear it?

Looks like you have to take off the muffler to adjust the valves on the passenger side. Is that correct?

How low is your bus? Sidewinder is the best bet but I hear they still hang too low if your slammed. Anybody (whose really low) have pics of the clearance they have with a sw?

That is correct, but it really doesn't take very long to take the muffler off. It takes all of 5 minutes, if that.

And the exhaust does have the low rumble; but with a 2017, I'm guessing you'll probably have a set of webers or dells on the motor? You'll hear those over the exhaust at just about all RPM's, so it's not really going to be a big issue.

A1 sidewinder........they are the best........if you have 600.00 bucks. They arent all that quiet. I assumed money was an issue. If it is, use an existing high clearance header [Thing or "Euro tuck"] and a hideaway turbo and have an exhaust guy do a little fabrication for you. less than half the cost [maybe 1/3] with the right balance between backpressure and noise.

Yep. Tiger at A1 would have a hard time selling them if they didn't.
