I know other guys run those rims, but I must say, those rims and tires on your bus look tight. I would love to find some. Mercedes rims right? Did you find them on CL or at a salvage yard or what? And how much? _________________ James

I love the way the wheels looks on your bus. Do you happen to know what Mercedes they came from? I wanted to get the offset of those wheels so I can keep an eye out since I frequently go to the salvage yard and there are lots of MB's there. Secondly, about those tires. What size are they? What is the tire's mfg. recomended maximum loading capacity? How are they on the FWY with passing trucks or high wind? |

I took them to a local business who sandblasted and cleaned then painted them with a silver epoxy paint.
Not exactly the stock matte silvergray but the price was right and the work is great.

$75 for all five is what it cost us to strip, prime and paint. (I did the prime and paint myself with Nason single stage oaint from Jerry's Paint in Sacramento. American Stripping did the paint removal. They also did the exterior of the bus.
