Anybody have one and what do you use it for? Was it worth the purchase price? _________________ LynnsABCs

Use it...Love it!!
Good info in transit as well as standard idle condition.
I picked up an extra ECU in case I messed up with the wiring or wanted to get rid of the unit , but, have not had a regret with the purchase. I will keep the spare ECU so I can sell the entire system some day if I need to.
The manufacturer is very helpful with any questions. _________________ It's all in your mind.

It is a nice diagnostic tool. If you want, build your own. I made a different design that does not alter the ECU. It uses a pass through connector to bring out the signal wires. It has a few of the LED's, but takes most of the signals out so you can utilize an accurate external Digital Volt Meter, or a Scope Meter. The Scope Meter gives the best data, as irregular signals from bad wiring show up in the waveforms. The biggest issue is the voltages displayed have little relationship to anything in the real world. There is not a great deal to be gained from the info. It does, however, make setting the Throttle Switch a snap.
This being said, the cost of the unit is better spent in buying new sensors and replacing the wires and generally getting new parts into the engine compartment.
Go to my public folder and download my article on how to build one, and if you have a D suffix ECU, how to read the error codes with the unit.
