|
|
At Bad Camberg in 07 there was a German gentlemen selling old VW mags out the back of his pick-up (near the basketball nets)
One old magazine, in colour on the cover, had a UK Barndoor Deluxe pictured in a London scene which showed the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben in the background
Does anyone have a picture of that cover?
Or know what issue it was?
Not sure of the magazine - it could have been
>VW Informationen (the internal publication for Volkswagen dealers)
>Gute Fahrt
>Other
Just interested to see the picture again _________________ -StockRocks- |

I don't think I have seen the photo you are talking about, but this one came to mind. It is similar to what you describe...barndoor, big tower. This is a Gute Fahrt cover.
Photo below hotlinked from Tonny's site:

Never seen that pic Chris. I would be interested to see it too. Can't recall ever seeing it on a VW Information or Gute Fahrt cover. |

Hi,
the BD deluxe pic in London you are talking about was also published on the front cover of the Bullikarteiīs Club Magazine in 1997.
Maybe you can get more info on www.bullikartei.de

Good work!
Looks like it's a 53-55 LHD bus, and registered in London in '55. It would have been exxxxtra-specially nice if it was a RHD British bus, but then again, you can't have everything.
Thanks for posting. |
