I purchased the VC kit and I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with there gauge? I got it All hooked up and took her for a drive. Pressure was about 60psi cold with 20-50 and about 20 after Brief warm up then I parked her. I went to work the next day on way to work everything is ok I get halfway and glance down the needle below is zero. I had no issues prior to install no flickering light at idle and surprisingly no drips and minamal usage. Idiot light is a blaze I tried new ground connections behind fuse and nothing. When I start van needle just makes it to zero. Next I'm going to change idiot wire recheck sender wire and if I have too put the .3 bar switch back in. Could the sender be bad or plugged? Is this a. Common sender I can get at a flaps? I was just wondering if anyone else had issues? I drove
It cross country last August and not once had the light come on. The reason I got the gauge in the first place is the wire coroded and the light slowely came on. Any help or guidence would be great. _________________ Binger

Did you use teflon tape on the sender hose fitting? Take it off if you did.
Dry. Sender must ground thru that connection. _________________ Shop for unique Vanagon accessories at the Vanistan shop:
