Custom Door Armrests

Just finished up installing some door handles in my van. After putting in my leather recaros I really missed having the armrests.

I ended up searching the junkyard and found some armrests out of an older honda civic for $5.00. They were an awful baby blue color, so I sprayed them with black vinyl paint. Unfortuately there were holes left where the stock armrests were. Had a vw badge laying around so just covered it up. I did have to add a small L bracket to the door, because the rear of the armrest didn't line up with anything.

Definitely a nice improvement. If you don't have a door armrest I would highly recommend doing this.

Nice seats. Too bad they don't have built in arm rests. What do they come off of?
