I know they make these kits for bugs, but i was wondering if they make one for T3 or does anyone run a bug shift kit in their T3?

I had one of these kits under a stock shifter in my old fastback... I hated it. It didn't work right ever.

On the other hand, I drove a car with a Gene Berg Shifter in it and I've already sworn to myself I WILL buy one.

The tunnel is different though! I have a shifter with a plastic base cover, and it's for a bug, but it doesn't fit quite right on a Type 3! The Type 1 tunnel is more round. They Type 3 is an odd shape, and has a weird bump on the left-hand side.

After I bought my first Berg I swore I would never buy anything else. It really is a case of getting what you pay for.

Never used one in my Type 3, but I had a short-shift kit in a Bug for awhile. Hated it, never could get the reverse lockout to work right.

I sh*tcanned it after I found a Hurst trigger-shifter a few months later...
