Here is my 4/56 Prairie Beige De Luxe project in Finland (the mainland for the independent Åland ) ,
it is going to be original exept for adjustable frontbeam and 356 rims.
It has already new panhalves, heating channels and fenders, the doors
has to be changed or repaired.

Last week my liscenceplates arived, my oval is back on the road. The restoration takes 3,5 years, still a few details to do, but now i can enjoy driving teh car.

Took ownership 5/16/2009. Am very green with Ovals and will be soliciting a lot of help from you guys.

1955 Oval project, rusty but salvageable. Original engine-pan-body. First VW resto. Great info so thesamba forums. Been lurking here at the classifieds since 1999-2000.

Only just picked this up a couple of weeks ago, it came to England about 2 or 3 years ago from The Cheq Republique . It had seat & door covers fitted from new, which has preserved the interior really well.

finally i've got myself a '55 Oval window! (me very happy :mrgreen: )
It's an OG Dutch one, so i'm gonna remove the things, it didn't roll out off the factory with like the gasmeter, reardrivinglight is that a correct word?
Well enough talkin', here are some pictures.
