I will be heading to germany for 3 years here in about 4 or 5 months, and I would love to save this bus. |

bubba: Anytime you want to switch is fine with me, but driving a 'late model' barndoor like this is almost like driving a fat chick.. I love seeing pictures of your 50 hittin the streets! and mad props to all the Nor-Cal guys for showing how its done, big time players! I say damn.... nice! I wish I could have been to the shows! Very cool! I love all the photos, thanks for posting!
Lind: Awesome shot, industrially modern barndoor art! I wish my garage looked like that...four lanes wide, plenty of headroom and an early BD right in the middle...cool! |
Doug, "late model" barndoors are not like a fat chick. Mine is more fat chic than yours. I'm running a big nut tranny. , But not for long! |

I actually enjoy the pic with the modern cars. I know that they are likely irritated at the slow speed of the Barndoor and the Barndoor is definitely irritated at their lack of respect, courtesy, and consideration for it. It is literally a clash of two worlds. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

I agree, theres a really cool pic of a samba and s/c going down a freeway in the sunshine from a couple of years ago, it looks like an old pic from the way it was taken, but the cars around it are modern.

I took that pic several years ago. I blew it up to poster size and it's right above my computer. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

sorry, NO barndoor, but just an illustration for 'delamaize', here 2 nice old pictures with a Prick panelvan!! ...still don't know what it means, I searched for 'Kak-Buss' translations from Danish, german, swedish,... but no results... I first tought it had something to do with a cactus, as there are some flowers on the logo behind the lady, and because the word Prick that reminds me of the needles on a cactus... but then, I found a picture, with some women that worked for Prick, it looks like they're wrapping cookies...?? (see link under last picture!!) I'm not sure, but in the swedish text, they talk about ' pepparkaksvalsar' that should be something like in Dutch: peperkoek, so some kind of sweet cookies ...makes me hungry I don't know, what's this 'Kak-Buss'...?? anyone??
ps: Swedish people, you could help by translating a bit of this page:
