Very Happy I'm always looking for wheels and have e few sets lying about. Strangely, audi allroad owners in Scandinavia seem to think the original 16" (and sometimes 17") wheels are too small, unfashionable or something. There are always a few advertised.

My girlfriend probably would'nt agree that my "illness" is grand Very Happy

In addition I've owned 8 bays. But I do prefer the T3 as an everyday car. Need to get me a taigagreen T2 though. When I can afford it... T3's are not expensive in Norway, yet. I've always made money or or got my investment back selling these cars. In my mind that makes for a reasonable hobby Very Happy

My first VW Vanagon 1990 GL 95K. Just had my awesome mechanic man replace the fuel tank, fuel lines, steering rod, v-belts, and rear wheel cylinders. The old man I bought it from hand painted the white - its on the list to change. So FUN!

Welcome to the T3 community. You have taken care of some importance maintenance items ... good move. Returning the white bits to the orginal color should make that a very nice looking van!

Here's my wife Victoria and her '91 Carat "Momo" at the Gulfport '09 show this March. She loves Momo and is planning a trip to New Hampshire (from Baton Rouge) soon. Momo ain't a show-queen, but everything works as long as I do!

Our 1990 Carat - 93,500 miles on the odometer.
(mileage checks out with the annual Texas smog cetifications)...
It is a So.Cal. vanagon now, and the texas twang (and fine dirt) is just about wrung out of it.
Plan to convert to a series hybrid (diesel/electric) when the heads start leaking coolant.

Those are Merc 16" wheels from a 280C.. The 280 rears are 17", so 4 fronts are required to do this job.
