What a pain Pulled engine to change clutch and thow out brngs ...different !!!! Does anyone know what this transmissions out of?????
Code :DC0472597 : Been Looking all over the internet..1 site says it's a
68>+ type 3......another says the 181 also used a DC ****** transmission. Shop I bought the clutch parts from says I should be using the new style parts. When what was in the beast was the old style parts.
Didn"t have much more than a soft peddle BUT had to pull engine to install alt> and check for cooler leak

you have two choices, go back to the shop you bought your t/o bearing and pressure plate and exchange them for the style you pulled out, or if your trans has three threaded holes around the output shaft then you can bolt the t/o bearing collar in place, all you will have to do is change your t/o bearing arm to the style that will hold your t/o bearing _________________ 65 21 window
