I believe its a variant of the common diagonal "conspicuity" striping (usually reflective) used in the EU on commercial trucks.. We have different versions here. Usually over there...you have a series of yellow and black or yellow and red stripes that cover the whole back door areas at about a 60* angle....of ambulance and utility service trucks....reflective of cours.
I think that is a toned down version used on service vehicles (electrical, plumbing, delivery etc.) that are commonly parked on the side of the street in a neighborhood.
It makes sense..as from the photo's...all of those appear to be service/business vehicles of some sort. Ray |

makes sense to me the blue one says service and italy on the side _________________ currently 71 super auto-stick, 73 ghia, 71 yellow ghia , a 68 square w71 fi, a 77 bus station wagon deluxe. and finaly finaly a 74 riveria with volvo pawer .ITS AN ADDICTION!!! |

It's seems to be a company van for the Italian yacht manufacturer Riva. Not really a something in the plumbers, electricians or utility service department
