They are not Empi. They are complete, axles, CV's, grease. They are inexpensive and good for those who can't or dont want to take apart axles. We've sold many, no complaints or problems.
We don't know the origin of many parts anymore because we are now in a world market. We have brand names like FAG bearings with Korea on the bearing, and they are perfect.
Consider there are 1.3 billion people in China, 168 million cars as of 2008, population growing 12 million a year. They have cars, they make parts, they import, they export. They even have Volkswagens. They have to make good quality to satisfy the world market. And it saves us Americans money.
If you are a VW purist and have that perfect car that you have in the garage and must have German parts and can afford them, please go ahead and find them, pay the extra and have the word Germany on your bearings, inside your brake drums, covered with grease where no one but you will know.
We judge every part we sell on it's own quality, not by who makes it. |

So what happened to the Nazi reference?
Remember- Chinese quality means lead in your toys, Melamine in your baby's formula and who knows what else.
Sure I buy chinese. Can't seem to get away from it. On bus parts, and especially CV joints, quality matters.
The philosophy of evwparts, even without the Nazi reference, gives pause for thought. |

it refers to a comment in the original (apparently unedited) post by the boner @ evwparts.
use caution...he may be a communist.
to the OP:
hate to break it to you, but nothing aftermarket is of german quality.
i have a set of brand-X CV's (on german axles) and they have served me well. _________________ 71 Ghia A/S - 88 Van A/T - 13 JSW TDI 6M/T |
