Question 1: I just received a headliner from WW for my '57 SC. Along with the 3 large pieces, I got these small strips. What are they for (DC maybe?) My '64 does not have them.
Question 2: Regarding the metal strips that cover the seam between the front and rear sections of the headliner - the strips in my '64 have 3 mounting holes on each side, but the ones that came with my '57 have 4 (there is an extra one at the outside end of the strip). When did this change? |

(#2) If by outside of the strip you mean towards the door, my '62 does not have them... _________________ Copyright CJ Industries, Inc.

My 59single had both the metal stips & the hardboard strips, but it was seriously molested before I got it & just figured thats the way it was suppose to be. _________________ Hoockd on fonicks werkt for mee?

The hardboard strips are correct for Double Cab's I believe, and WW's attempt to provide some type of retaining/sealing strip for a Single Cab headliner. All of my Single Cabs (4) have had metal retaining strips. Basically throw away material if you own a Single. I have a spare set of metal strips Tom if you need some. |
