Is there a stock auxillary battery relay in '80-'83 Vanagon Westfalias? I assumed if there was one that it'd be near under the driver's seat where the aux. battery is usually placed. Then I saw Ratwell's photo of the stock relay for bays in the engine compartment. Made me wonder "Do I have a relay somewhere and I just don't know where to look?".

Thanks,

Hans

There's no second aux batt. relay there. If you want to but second battery in you have to buy a kit. Gowesty.com has a good kit but, it's the most expensive at $50.00. I've seen hella kits on ebay cheaper.

I'm going to move this discussion to a similar post in the by window forum for a moment and then I'll report back here. Feel free to make any comments on this in the meantime and I'll check it out.
