so ive been getting some emails on how i did this or how i did that.i have alot of pics and thought i would go ahead and share the whole build with you guys.i know for me seeing a build thread gets me excited to work on whatever i got going on myself and i hope this does the same for some of you.before i even got going on this thing i got some advise from skim and daniel.skims exact words were you have to have a "vision".daniel said just put in an hour a day.there wasnt a day that went by without thinking how im gonna do this or that.i stuck to this advise like glue.i started this build just a couple months before the classic 08.so anyways ill post up some pics of what i started with first.i couldnt of asked for a better start with this super dry az oval.

Yeah, was very motivated after seeing this thing at classic. I loved the detail. And after seeing some of these build pics, realized how much detail I couldn't even see. Very nice job.....very impressive work...

It's cool, cuz you have the type of detail where you can't just go buy some parts and slap on it........it takes some thought and elbow grease and makes it different....not everyone can just go do that.

thank you for the pics/post.....

Tim keep the pics coming. With all of the cars at Classic I kept coming back to yours, and the Brown GFK vert. I wish I had your talent. I will be stealing a few of your ideas on my car BTW. Embarassed Cool

exactly!i didnt want to just buy a bunch of prepackaged parts to bolt on.it hit me when i was looking at the build thread of skims impala.he was smoothing out all the cast emblems and numbers off his brake calipers!this is what i stuck with for the entire build.

Thanks for sharing pictures. Its going to be inspirations for others and educate others as well, its all about the details, detaling doesn't really cost that much, just your time. I always think attention to details. I smile when someone sees what I did without saying anything. Details equals passion.
I go by an hour a day rule and it works! I'm married with no kids, but having a wife is somtimes like having 5 kids, lol

Anyway the poison berry is bad ass and a true VW build, one of the few, call yourself an elite and you deserve it.

I gotta give it up... it takes alot of ambition, drive, dedication, and support to put it down like that on a ride. Especially with handling the paint and bodywork part too. That shit is no joke. Not only physical, but hours go by like minutes. Gotta remind yourself to eat sometimes. Anyway, the paint looks deep and smooth as hell on those parts....that's some gourmet shit right there. Nice job T. Car came out beautifully.

Anthony

(btw, skims impala.....all I can say is god damn! Homie has 20/20 vision
fo sho.

Yeah I don't mind metal work but I hate body work. I could repair 3 rusty cars sheetmetal before one body and paint. My problem is I got too many projects going at once. Tims car made me go back to the drawing board with a lot of my shit on my split.
