how does the gas filler venting/hoses route? I have a open metal hose under the fender, does that have a hose that attaches to it? I have gas fumes to control so I am hooking up the missing hoses...but Bentley has no info on the fender area, only the charcoal filter in the engine area.

There are replacement hoses sold at West Coast Metric and Karmann Ghia Parts and Restoration. I don't have all of min connected either. I plan on routing a small hose off the filler tube connection for venting fumes overboard. I'm not sure whether the metal overflow tube ever came with a longer hose on it or not. I plan on running a long hose to the bottom of my car just in case I over fill it. Hope this helps
