I may be going to hell in a bucket baby, but at least I'm enjoying the ride!
Finally got my 2187cc and super duty trans in my Thing. First trip to the dunes. I can walk up any hill, what a blast! Many more pics in the Thing gallery.

Excellent! Glad to see you got it all put together. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun. _________________ OG JHC

Thingsandrails, hey man thanks again for the helping me out on the dunes when I tossed the fan belt and had no tools! Yeah, as soon as I have some $$$ saved I will be intersted in some of those bumpers!
Hopefully I will see you up at the dunes again this summer. I wanted to get some pics of both of our cars on the dunes. Fix that torsion a.s.a.p. so we can fly by all of those trucks and Jeeps in our 181s!
I ended up breaking my car on monday. I had shock bosses welded onto my front beam so it could accept king pin style Fox shocks. I did not have any stops put on (dumb) so my shocks were bottoming out on those mounts the whole time, they broke right off. I pulled my beam yesterday and am going to have the bosses weled back on and stops put in so it will not happen again. So I should have it back on the road by next weekend. _________________ "So we went for a spin in the country
