It's hard to tell from that pic, but it's a roadster truck. Cool

What's the story on that house if you know. Anything of value inside?

Who knows. A real nice old guy though. He had lived in the place for 50 years and now it's going away. It was a little traumatic for him.
At least he's walking away with a pile of cash. Smile

I have a brother in Seattle... I'll just buy a one-way plane ticket, and drive the car home. What could go wrong? Laughing

The '28 and 29 Ford roadster trucks are one of the most coveted vehicles to build a street rod out of. Mega cool factor. The streety rod guys will be performing a circle jerk over that one...

Watch what you wish. When you get down to one, then you have to be careful.
I already used up my left kidney.

I had an XK-120 Roadster, with a Ford 390/T-10 4 speed... poor man's Cobra, aluminum British sports car body, and Ford big-block muscle..
They are right, that roadster pickup is going to fetch a LOT of $$$ from either a restorer, or a hot rodder.
I wouldn't mind getting a hold of either of the cars, but I already know they are going to sell for way more than I can afford.

I'm pretty sure no. He's got his hands full building a Model A which is why this is so crazy. Maybe he has a long lost twin... Shocked

I still wanna know what's the story with the whole property? Eccentric old codger living in a mansion on the hill with stupid cool cars in the garage, but got too many bats in the bellfry and no relatives? (sad state of affairs, but sheesh... what's the story here Drool ??)

Many years ago in the early 60's the shop I was working in did a strip and paint on a mid 50's Jag in Red Lacqure hand rubbed around 30 coats. It was plush inside wood and leather. That was the first and only time I have ever worked on a alum body. We were lucky the body was perfect.

Forget the Jag,, load up that Ford. At least the Ford is fixable and parts are readily available. I guess I am partial to Fords.
