Dave,
Made it home safely. I opted to take the 5 all the way home. Quite the experience. I did notice I heard what sounds like fan rubbing near home. I pulled over and noticed there was some play as I pushed on the alternator pulley. The sound went away but appeared as I was pulling in. I've used the search here on the forum and have found some pointers. I have some ideas of where to start. Thanks for asking. I love to surf down there and frequent the North OC beaches as well. Don't know how often or where you like to go but would love to meet up for surfing. I'll keep in touch! Thanks again. Take care, Danny |

Only been showing for the last 3 years and by my estimation this was the most attended one! 
Could have been the fact that they had a "celebration" of Rich's birthday which was all too kool in and of itself!

I missed it last year and was super bummed. I promised myself that I would make it next year. Well it snuck up on me and I had to work. I woke up at 5am and was in the line up of buses by 5:45 in the surf by 6:00 for about an hour, rode one in from the outside, strapped the board on the bus, took some pictures (post tomorrow) quick chat with some nice volks and high tailed it to San Diego by 8:00. Next year ALL DAY!
I'm usually at SanO on Sundays. From morning till night. I was surprised when I was told folks usually pack out around 2-3, I was gonna head back up for evening glass. Cheers
