I was gonna get a CS.Then the company I work for laid off over 400 people over the last year. I took 2 pay cuts. Company may go bankrupt. At least I'm still working. So I'm gonna use the exchange case("B") from my parts bus, the CW crank off my old drag bug. The 34 ICT's I've had sitting for almost 20 years. The mustache bar hangers I made back in the 80's for a different 1600 in a '72 bus. Tins I have kept that are in great shape. I'm really glad I did not get rid of all this stuff and more.If I did I might not be able to get the bus going. Some new bearings, rings and a valve job should get the toy to the local meets and the store and back. Hopefully 2010 will bring the CS. Could be worse. |

Like old times ,yeah. But different. I was younger, they were my daily drivers, and I don't remember giving a rats bottom. Parts were plentiful and cheap. Those were the good ole times. I can't wait to drive slow in the right lane again. |
