I have oil coming out of the over flow hose on my 1800 fuel pump. I am not useing the pump ,I have an electrial pump hooked up. A friend said just to leave the old pump hang there. We took it out for a run the other night and I didn't think I was going to make it back home. It is a used motor in the bus,it has a weber carb on it. I thought the carb needs to be rebuilt. Put the bus back in the garage . Went down tonight to pull the carb and there was about 2 quarts of oil on the floor. Can any one help.
Thanks Karl

If you don't have an oil pressure gauge you may want to choose the shortened rod option, without a way to tell you'll never know the pressure has dropped until it's too late.

Well I guess I will shorten the rod,and make a cover plate. My big question now is why did my oil drain out of the little hose. I mean it draned all of it , with the motor shut off .
