Rich i thnk they are just M6 hex heads, with 'penny' washers (large washer with 6mm hole) or maybe slotted pan heads. Does it matter? Wink

My '54 has M6 hex head bolts. Length unknown.

many thanks chaps, not only has this given me the answer to my question but the reference pictures have saved me a load of correcting work as my repair panel is wrong!

Length of them is only about 15-20mm from recollection.

I pulled a few out of my '55 and they were all 20mm in total length. 3 were Verbus, one was Rasche.

All have small spring washers but I suspect the photo above is more correct with the larger washers. Or both spring and the larger washers?

On a post BD bus up to 58/59ish, that hole is to facilitate lubrication of the forward grease fitting on the drag link.
