Does anyone know this JA? I was just reading a blog from a couple from Northern California Bay Area who had a BAD experience with this guy. The local Hawaiian boys in the Portland area needs to visit this JA and take care of business (kick his ass).

Anyone interested check out the blog http://bodeswell.org/

I was wondering why he did not call the police to report his motor stolen. Meet the police at Joseph's shop to get the report started.

I already posted on their blog to do that very thing. According to him, this "Hawaiian" guy literally stole his engine. Instead, and I assume it was due to a little panic, he dropped that case and simply bought a new engine (which he needed to do anyway) somewhere in PDX and is currently driving it around to break-in !

Basically several of us gave him a lot of advice regarding honest shops but he was in a hurry and went to the first one that said "yes" to his need for a super-quick rebuild.

Anyway, I've lived with VW's and around PDX for a long time and have never heard of this Mr. Aloha.
